30 Days of fitness, day 2: ‘Make a motivational collage and post a picture of it. Talk about what keeps you motivated (which might help explain parts of your collage)’
Okay, well. My goal isn’t to be the hottest bombshell babe on the beach, and I suck at collages, so obviously scouring through women’s magazines and cutting out pictures of celebrities in bikinis and gluing them to a sheet of paper wouldn’t work for me.
Past year, I had an eating disorder called EDNOS which stands for ‘Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified’. I most closely identified with Orthorexia, which is similar to anorexia, but is driven by the obsessive need to have a ‘perfect’ diet, instead of the need to be thin.
For me, this is about changing my viewpoints of what is healthy from; Low calorie, to, nutrient dense and what is best from your body. I want to push my body to do things I’m proud of, rather than starving myself to deal with emotional pain.
